Hi,

i gave an e36 325i, and i'm midway through doing some rust repairs, i need to buy some paint, the sticker under the bonnet says moreagrun-metallic, but i've never heard of this colour, neither does my local motor factors, who are usually very good. Have bmw accidently put the european sticker on my car, is there a more english name for my paint? or am i daft and need to go to a paint specialist?

thanks

The name's usually written in german, in my experience: there should be a three digit code next to or under it, typ the lot into google & you should get the answer. If not, ring a dealer with the code & they'll be able to id it.

The colour is Morea green, it's a lightish metallic green colour. If you can't get it elsewhere then a BMW dealer should be able to mix some up for you.

As above. Give them your reg or chassis number and they'll be able to get the exact paint code.

Not sure if you got it yet, but when I needed to spray mine, I called the local Bimmer dealer, told him the reg then he told me Arctic Silver Metallic (in Deutsch).

ETA.. they "kindly" sold me some tiny tins of nicely matching paint for around 30 of my hard earned. Pure rip, but I once had a bad experience with getting slightly the wrong colour and wont go there again.
