Auto adjusting wing mirror on reverse question...

Until today, every time I selected reverse, my passenger-side wing mirror would automatically adjust itself. Now it doesn't. The only thing that's changed as far as I can tell is that I let my 2.5 year old son have a 'play drive' - i.e. everything off but let him sit in the driver's seat and play with the wheel and such.

I am wondering if there's anything he might have been able to switch or knock that might have turned off the auto-adjust facility. Or, conversely, if it might be a coincidence and it's either died of 'natural causes' or the heat has got to it (22C today).

Try flicking the right/left mirror select switch to the other position and try again with reverse ;o)

Yeah, move the mirror select on the door insert to the right mirror, then try again.

Scared me when i did this bout a year ago.

I have just changed to a 130 and it doesn't have this feature and I really miss it after 6 years.

The mirror swicth needs to be in the offside position for the mirror to automove in reverse.
