BMW 2002 easyish engine transplant

[anonymous-user]

Hi, Anybody know a good engine transplant that will fit in the 2002 without major grinding. I have looked at all the 2002 sites and cannot seem to find anything. Please advise.. Was looking at E36 2 S6.

thanks J

If it's a clean/original-ish 02 would be a shame to do this...

Once saw a 2002 fitted with e30 M3 running gear. Looked completely standard apart from some wider BBS alloys and a slightly lower ride height.

Could always keep the orig engine and just turbo it.
