Hi, can anyone tell me procedure for turning off the tyre puncture alert on my 535d??
Can't find the handbook anywhere, have checked the tyres and they seem to be fine.
Any assistance much appreciated
Cheers, B
Is the E60 not on runflats? When you say checked the tyres have you put a pressure guage on them? If it is on runflats there is no visable sign of a puncture. Can't find the handbook anywhere, have checked the tyres and they seem to be fine.
Any assistance much appreciated
Cheers, B
There also quite sensitive to pressure changes...

Here is the procedure I used:
1. Go to petrol station and turn off engine
2. Inflate all tyres to correct level
3. Back in the car, turn ignition on (but not engine)
4. In Idrive go to the RPA option
5. Choose "re-set tyre pressures"
6. Start engine and drive away.
Spot on, sometimes it takes a fair few miles for it to re-set. I'd say equal pressures as you will want different pressure in none RFT's! Your tyre fitter should be able to advise on a sensible pressure. RPA is in Main menu mode, vehicle settings option (from memory).1. Go to petrol station and turn off engine
2. Inflate all tyres to correct level
3. Back in the car, turn ignition on (but not engine)
4. In Idrive go to the RPA option
5. Choose "re-set tyre pressures"
6. Start engine and drive away.
