My 330Ci's A/C has been found wanting during this recent 'heatwave'. I see that Kwikfit are doing a deal on a/c re-gassing - anyone tried this? How did it work out?

They are cheap and do a good job.

They are cheap yes but I am currently in the process of formally complaining to them about the re-gas they did for me. Make of that what you will.

I had my E46 330Ci air con regassed at Kwikfit (first time after owning for 7 years). No problems at all - took about an hour, and has been perfect ever since. Good value for £45.

My system was leak tested and re-gassed after they had'nt found a leak. Picked up car and had working air-con, parked car for an hour or so and no air-con when I got back in. They now won't refund my money as per there policy.

They did a good job with mine except I thought they'd lost the caps until I discovered them under the bonnet 4 weeks later. I think they will argue the leak policy is when they test it during the time they have it connected to the machine.

Just got a refund having had the area manager involved who did'nt query my situation at all. I think the branch manager is in for it though!

I had a similar experience. Air con gone again within a few hours. Cheap enough to have a go though.
