e46 Headlight conversion.

Can any kind souls help? I am about to purchase an E46 (2004)330d sport manual tourer which has standard h/lights.Is it possible to fit used Xenon units? and what other kit is needed.
Never did like carrots.

Best to buy some aftermarket projector lenses and an HID kit.

You can buy the OEM kit but it is not the easiest retrofit and quit pricey.

Speak to the guys at CA Automotive regarding what is available for Xenon conversions. They do some great kits and any decent auto electrician can retrofit. Just make sure the reflectors are in good shape, if not buy some new ones.

thanks for the tips,noticed two used E46 Xenon units on e-bay,would you advise buying them and then approaching specialists like CA for the tie ins? or buying the aftermarket conversions full top?....could have waited to find a car with all toys,but running an escort van as a stop gap.....thats the sympathy card played then!
