Want new wheels on my E39, possible for £300?
Discussion
Try Quarry Motors in Sheffield - they have a website and offer plenty of refurbished second hand E39 alloys for £400 or so for a set.
My genuine BMW style 32 17" staggered radials came from them, with tyres, though to be frank the tyres were useless so I immediately bought a full set of Goodyear F1s, doubling the price. If you wait until you need new tyres anyway then this may not seem so bad. Pic in my profile, anyway. Proper BMW finish to them, with the slightly shiny paint (can't remember what it's called but it's not just a basic silver).
They do advertise on eBay too but ring them up and they'll do a better deal than the eBay buy-it-now once you take postage into account. Don't rely on their website to be up to date as to what they have for sale, but it'll give an indication.

I had 16" 2003 SE standard alloys on mine. Sold on ebay for £100 (requiring new tyres on 3 of the 5). I bought off ebay 17" wheels (from a 540i I think) with 5 decent tyres for £250.00
Reckon you can if you look and wait, people do sell teh turbines on ebay so I'm sure you could too.
