Converting to a multi CD player (E46 coupe)

There is a car I'm thinking of buying which is great in every respect except that it only has the basic "BMW Business RDS" which includes a single CD.

How possible (and expensive) is it to convert to a multi CD? I have access to a used 6-disc autochanger from another E46 and wondered if this could be slotted in.

Sorry if the question sounds naive...I have no prior knowledge of these things.

I did this in our 3 series. Have a look in the boot on the left hand side there should be a hole in the trim or a blanking plate. I think the wiring loom should be there from what I remember other people have said.

As above, left side of the boot, pop out the panel and there'll be wiring and space for the BMW 6 CD changer, you'll need to source a changer and probably a bracket from t'internet but availability should be good as most people dump them in favour of an ipod.

Every e46 is pre wired for a cd changer whether one was spec'd with the car or not
