I thought the Spyker used an Audi V8?
Are you not thinking of the Gumpert Apollo? (which is an Audi V8)

MINI's do NOT have BMW engines!

MIxture of Toyota,CHrysler & Peugeot/Citroen dependent on model/year

They're also built at the same plant as the "proper" BMW engines (petrols, diesels are built by Pug). Although (as yet) there are no engines that can be found in a MINI and a BMW.

Am I right in saying that the Vauxhall Omega (possibly the 2.5 Diesel) is a BMW engine underneath the Vauxhall cover?

Range Rover and Omega used the 2.5d.

ETA:

Bentley Arnage used the 4.4 albeit with a turbo added.
