can any one help me i am trying to get more power out of my 1992 318 is coupe but am toiling to find any parts anywher that could give me gains,i am lookin for enlarged throttle bodies,cams,pulleys etc or does any one know if any of the 6 cilender parts will fit mine thanks....willie

bummer i had a feeling that would be the case, do ya know if it is a lota hassle gettin a bigger engine fitted at all? would need to fit the fuel pump,bigger brakes etc???

its just took me ages to get ma 318is to look as good as it does its an m3 rep kited right out iside an out would be hard to get rid of it lol

You could drop a S14 B23 or 25 into it, but it would be cheaper to do what has been previously mentioned.

Trade it in and buy a 325i.

Cheaper and more effective.

Think there is a version of the Nissan 200SX that is known as a S14, but not 100% sure as don't rweally know too much about Datsun's.

The S14 I am refering to is the engine from the E30 M3, in either 2.3, B23, or 2.5, B25, you could also add the S14 B20 as the 2.0 version found in the Italian/Portugese 320iS'.

Willie, here are your options

ECU remap giving approx 5-10 bhp £299
Air induction kit 2-5 bhp £120
De cat and exhaust system 3-10 bhp £400

You will have to throw a lot of cash at the car which will only give you minimal additional power but these are your most popular options

hhmm i see what every 1 means like,i already have a custom de cat an full stainless scorpion, i have never been able to source a 4 branch manifold though very anoying indeed, ive fitted denso iridium plugs an have a k,n, induction kit,how ever i am replacing it with a ram air cda kit soon, allso i seen piper fast road cams for 200 quid ive got my eye on
