Which Oil for X5 4.6is?

Guys,

Does anyone know the correct oil grade for an X5 4.6is? Dealer is "unsure"!!! & handbook only gives a BMW code.

Also...engine diagram in handbook is of a 3.0d. The 4.6 has two additional fluid reservoirs at the front of the engine on the right hand side. I'm guessing brake fluid & Power steering fluid. Does anyone know which is which??

If the code is BMW LL 01 then your best bet is Mobil 1 OW/40 from Costco, 4 litres for £25 ish.

Castrol Edge 0 30 LL01 is what I just used in my 4.6 for it's inspection 2 and I understand it's what the stealers use.
