Hey guys, sorry crap question, but ive been given a m logo centre to fit my standard bmw gearlever. the gearlever itself seems to be a two piece lever, ala e46 style, being red and black, but i dont want to damage the lever by fitting the new centre. any ideas? thanks for any help.

An ///M badge won't make a non-///M car faster you know tongue out

Most of the knobs that already have a logo on are simply glued/pressed in, so carefully using a flat blade to prise the old one out should be fine.

But remember under bar horsepower rules you get an extra 10bhp for every surface in the car that you put M-logos on.

Haha! have no fear, shes got the real deal under the bonnet, i bought a colour coded gearlever after spotting one when the e46 compact was released, so bought one as a treat, but didnt want to damage the lever trying to fit a blooming badge, thanks for the advice though!!!
