e46 330ci noise from rear brakes???

Hi good afternoon all!

I am driving a 330ci sport, and have recently haas the bushes and droplinks changed (common fault so i am told), however I now notice that there is an annoying rattle/knocking coming from the rear drivers side brake?

I know it is the brake, as when I press the brake padel down it stops, otherwise it carries on ticking away...

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any ideas on how it would be fixed and the costs involved...

any help/thoughts would be most appreciated

I had something similar on mine, it turned out to be the handbrake shoes that had worn and then eventually worked loose. The handbrake was pulling up high too, good 7 or 8 clicks before engaging...
The car needed new shoes, and also new rear discs as mine were on the way out. Took it to my local independent and it cost somewhere around £120-150 I believe to have it sorted.

I had similar issue, would even hear slight rattle driving on rough road. Dealer thought some grease might cure problem, turned out the wrong size pads were fitted, so some correct pads fixed problem
