Posted this in the detailing forum but it seems a bit slow over there so hopefully some of you guys have an idea.

Seat has been in perfect condition till now when I tried cleaning it with this:

Then followed it up using this:

I have a feeling that the seat may be worn as the other seats in my car look great using these products. I'm pretty sure that BMW seats are known for wearing if not cared for ? I don't know if it had been repaired before I owned it but I'm assuming that it should of been perfect as I got the car with 21k and it's looked perfect till I've given it a clean.

Here is my seat:

Any ideas how I can fix it ? Or know someone who can repair it for a reasonable price near Wokingham/Reading/Guildford ?

Cheers

Not sure if this'll help, but these guys seem to know their stuff.. http://www.lttsolutions.net/articles.asp

If not, try detailingworld.co.uk for advice on leather care. I've been told that most modern BMW leather is sealed, so no point in using leather care products as they don't touch them anyway. Best thing is just to clean with a slightly damp cloth and the odd specific conditioner for that sealant

Spot on that man, what Judy from LTT doesn't know about leather is not worth knowing.

They sell a car care kit which has a cleaner, maintenance and protective spray.

They will sell a refurb kit to professionals too, I popped by their premises in Harrogate last week to have a leather paint mixed up for the cream leather in my 330i.
