Does anyone know from experience, a decent place to get a BMW A/C system regassed in the Thurrock region of Essex. I would prefer an independant or BMW specialist but NO KWIK-FIT type outlets thanks! Don't want those animals anywhere near my car.

Thanks.

Not near Thurrock but I had my Z4 regassed at M T Auto not far from southend airport. Was £40 and Mike takes pride in his work.

to be honest its quite a easy process so nothing much for them to muck up.

2 pipes connected on it basically sucks out your old gas then re fills

id just look in the local papers for anyone doing specials

A/C regassing is so simple that I'd go to the closest/cheapest option.
Screwing on a couple of pipes pipes and following, simple instructions on the unit is pretty foolproof for even the most neaderthal operator!

I seem to recall that if there is no improvement at a Kwik Fit (e.g. if there is a leak for example), then you don't have to pay!

This could be interesting, the air con in the 740i has never worked while I've owned it but I'm reluctant to waste any money on gas only to find that it still doesn't work...
