Or a hybrid? Anyhow, some tiny pictures.

I'll gamble on the new 320d.

I reckon it will have....

161bhp
0-60mph in 8 seconds
109g/km so in the £35 tax bracket

I reckon they will achieve these economy figures by including...

a modified engine construction
a longer rear axle transmission ratio
lowered suspension and the use of specially designed aerodynamic alloy wheels with Michelin EnergySaver tyres.

It will probably also have a dual-mass flywheel with springs between the two parts to help smooth out any engine vibration through the drivetrain, plus centrifugal pendulum absorbers to improve smoothness further.

All just a guess of course. wink

They should get rid of all the ECO rubbish and slot in the S85 V10 preferably with twin turbos!!

It looks fantastic........

Impressive if not a bit bold. The specs also look quite good. I wonder if the speeds are assisted electric power as I cannot see how they can maintain constant output and charging at the same time.

IF it proves a winner perhaps we can see it filtering down the line. 0..60 under 5 seconds and 70+ Mpg! I cannot see anyone moaning about that.

Ignoring all the green hyperbole, is this their post-Bangle design language?

"This car is about lightness. We stretched the dimensions of the car and made them passionate."
