Which BMW dealer?
Discussion
I’m close to pulling the trigger on a new BMW 135i, and being new to BMW after many years with another brand, before doing so I’d like to get an idea of what to expect from any of my local BMW dealers and wondered if anyone has any good/bad comments/experience of the following dealers in terms of attitude/customer service in respect to their service departments, and sales?
Scotthall Ruislip (service only)
H R Owen Holland Park (service only)
Berry Chiswick
Berry Heathrow
Scotthall Watford
BMW Park Lane

I just brought a used car from Scothall Watford, service was good, but once i gave a depoist, i was the one who had to chase them up to find out if it was ready to collect etc.
BMW Park Lane is actually owned by BMW and is not a franchise, so you might get a better level of service there and they might be able to source cars for you better than the others.

The trouble with these threads is they run the risk of "naming & shaming" if people are too honest. But given that you ask...
Park Lane: Mini Park Lane (FWIW) were excellent. What limited contact I've had with sales at BMW PL has been friendly and efficient. Will be taking the Z4MC to their Nine Elms service centre for its first oil service if the price is right, as I was very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of their parts dept a few weeks back.
Chiswick: have been in twice over the last 18 months and was pretty unimpressed by their "sales" customer service. Would not return a third time.
No idea about the others.
And no need to feel limited to London. I'm in SW3 but bought the Z4MC and the provious Z4 from Knights in Staffs, who were very good both times.

I wasn't that bothered about the buying bit tbh, I'll use whoever is going to give the best deal, although if that's local then all the better of course But, I was more concerned about post sale and service.
