Anyone know if the front arches from a convertible are the same as those found on the saloon (328i)?

Anyone know of a list of compatible panels? confused

All e36 coupes and convertibles share the same front wings, including the M3 coupe.
Saloons are different and will not fit.
Great place to check bmw parts is realoem.com

Coupe and Conv panels are the same but watch out for before and after facelift.

Different side repeaters, grille panels and bumpers.

What's different about the bumpers pre- and post-facelift?

All early cars had a nine hole centre grille below the no plate (part of the bumper) later cars have a bumper with a full width removeable grille below the no plate although this update was introduced into the model range in various stages, 6 cylinder cars 1st, then 4 cyl models and finally compacts.
