Hi guys, i have a 1998 single vanos 528i manual that is mint, i've no intention of selling it as it has all new suspension all the wishbones are new and it has the Eibach pro kit fitted ,Eibach anti-roll bars allround and Bilstein B8 dampers ,supersprint silencer smile

I've had it 5 years now and for the last year i've been debating on and off about doing the whole M50 manifold/bbtb and Us spec M3 cams and a remap when the mods are done but this could cost nearly 2k i think and would leave me at about 240bhp max.

I've had a quote about fitting an Evo 3.2 M3 engine and they reckon 3k-3.5k for a roll in roll out job that's including a good full history engine ,new clutch, new rad .Use my existing transmission and exhaust . I will need new front springs because of the extra weight of the Evo motor .

What do you guys think,i would love something unique like this but am i getting carried away ,sure you only live once. Any advice or ridicule welcomed.
