Lost key E46

Have lost the spare key to my E46.

Anyone know how much it costs to get a new one even though you still have the original one?

Can it be cloned or something like that ?

I think it's something horrific like £120.

A remote spare key for your e46 will cost about a £100.00 depending on the year of the car, its a dealer only part.

You will need the v5 and photo ID to buy one.

A BMW dealer can switch the lsot key off for you, it won't stop anybody unlocking the car but it will stop them from starting it.

In the event you do find it the dealer can switch it back on again for you.

The bad news is they will probably charge you £50.00 extra for the pleasure

When I bought my 2001 E46 3 years ago the dealer provided me with a spare key. The cost including VAT was £88.

Ive just had the misfortune of having to buy a new key from a MB dealer.£215 and they wouldnt even do any discount for trade
