Fitting an e36 m3 exhaust manifold to my 99 e36 328 sport

Hi, I'm kevin.this is my first ever post on a forum, I'm hoping someone can help me. I've bought a pair of e36 m3 exhaust manifolds and I'd like to fit them on my e36 328,they look like they will fit to the head ok but seem to have longrt downpipes. Has anyone fitted them to their m52? Is it a nightmare? Any advice or thoughts would be greatfully received, thanks.
