Help Engine/Gearbox issue

I have a 130k miles, 2001, 530d, autobox car which feels as if it mis firing or changing down. When it happens the rev counter doesn't flicker an typically only happens when in Drive, between 50 and 80 mph, in 5th gear.

The engine and gearbox have been checked and cleared of any recorded faults. I have had the car for 8 years and looked after it, so im surprised this has occurred.

Anybody got any suggestions ????

Who checked the gearbox and how?

A company called Autobox. They plugged into the cars service point (OBD2) and checked for record faults etc and drove it.

I would say, get a second opinion.
