Which Tyres for 19" Wheeled 535d?
Discussion
It's MOT time for my car in a couple of weeks time and though the rear tyres are still a fair way from being borderline, given that we're heading into winter, I may replace them earlier rather than later.
The car is currently fitted with Continental Sport Contact 2's front and rear, and to replace like-for-like they look to be circa £250 per wheel for the rears, but I see that these tyres have now been superseded (by the SC3).
Is it worth 'upgrading' to the SC3? And could I have a mix and match pairing of SC2's on the front, and 3's on the rear?
Any advice gratefully appreciated

The SportContact3 is much, much better than the SC2. Significantly better.
That said, I'm still not a massive Continental fan, they charge Michelin prices for Bridgestone performance, and I've yet to have a Conti that lasted well.
If I were you I'd do towards the Bridgestone RE050A or Vredestein Ultrac (there's 3 types, all are good tyres).
