What's the consensus on a manual box in a 530d, I know most are auto, and that's fine, but then again I like to change gear, even in Mk4 Golf TDI130.

So would you steer clear of a manual 530d?

I stayed away from a manual in my 550 but that is because I didn't want a manual. You should get what you want too. Anything else you want to know?

manual 530d e60's are quite rare, but there are a small percentage of people who want them. It make take longer to sell come resale time, but there'll always be someone out there for it.

If you want one go for it, far less demand, something like 1 in 100 are looking for a manual, however. that means that your car will be 1 in a 100 when you come to sell it so it makes no odds really.
