Hi Guys.....

I am all poised to buy a 1999 BMW 728i this morning, had a look around it, driven it, cheched everything works, and this morning at 09:00 was going to go back to the garage, run through all the paperwork and then do the deal

BUT....

Turns out they dont have the service book, and are 'hoping' that the previous owner will forward it on??

Is there anyway or anyone on here that can check the cars service history via the dealer network so i can confirm that the 84,000 miles are genuine?

Also, i guess not having that stamped book and invoiced should really make an impact on the cars
value?

The registration is T577 YDC

Many Thanks

Richard.

Not scrapped, not stolen, no Cat D (recorded at least)

No mileage record but you can check that via the MOT's (at least to a basic level of satisfaction).

No service book will make the car worth less for sure (especially if it can't be proven/traced).
