Took delivery of my new 5 Series M sport Touring Business Edition last night, picked the wife up on the way home and had a little tour around for a while and we were very impressed.
1st BMW for me since 1992, have been driving mercs for 12 years with a few sporty numbers in between, but this new E61 is very good.

Good choice to spec the SAT - I drive almost everywhere in Manual Sport and it makes the car far, far more enjoyable to drive.

your not kidding, hit the sport button in manual mode with the paddle shift and it feels really nice and blips the throotle on the down changes, it feels a lot more responsive, am really enjoying this car.
I have the professional multi media fitted in mine which is very good.
