E46 330ci brake and disc help

Hi all, recently joined after lurking for a long time and need a bit of help.
The handbrake shoes have broken up and the garage says they have damaged the disc, also have a slightly warped front disc so they quoted to replace all discs (Delphi's), pads, handbrake shoes and also having wishbone bushes done. They want £740.00 and i thought it a bit ott, or am i just being tight!

An independent will do you a better deal. I went to main dealer and paid £450 for all four pads and discs on my Z4 (kinda think 3 series running gear, brakes etc. very similar). So allowing for the bushes your quote is not that off ball, however you may get a cheaper quote elsewhere.

Crikey, blimey O'Reilly! I know it's chalk and cheese but I paid £175 for two front discs and pads, fitted, on my Griff. I think I'll look after the discs on the bimmer from now on...

My quote was from an indy, but not the usual one i use.He's an ex BM guy just starting up n his own so i thought i'd give him a go, no so sure its a good idea now though!
