E34 touring front doors - same as saloon?

As per title realy, I've picked up a bargain barge 540i touring but it has some little dings in each front door. Rather than mess about getting them filled and sprayed I figured it could be easier and cheaper to just swap the doors over with some scrapyard ones. Are the front ones the same as the saloon?

I understand there was a change in 09/1991 affecting the door lock mech mounting holes, reportedly can be redrilled, but might also be faff!

Later E34 door locks are basically E36 ones.

Good luck finding an undamaged E34 door that a) isn't rusty at the bottom and b) whose paint is a perfect match.

Yes, ten years on, I would be expecting to paint it! Are the saloon doors the same then, I can find no suggestions they are not, rust at the bottom appears common hence replacements without rust rare?
