Hi Guys,

firstly hello (i'm new here)

has anyone ever had there wheels on a z4 refurbed? I have the 18inch 108 split rims on mine and they are in dire need of some attention.

I am based in Cheshire can anyone recommend any good wheel refurbers?

Cheers

Oh, I was just waiting for an excuse to show mine off...
I had them done a a place called The Wheel Specalist in Nottingham but they are in a few locations.

Striped, Powder Coated, Painted - Flash Chrome..

Many of the guys on here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/ have done refurbs on 108's - take a look

Common problem - mine have just been acid bathed, then re-sprayed - all the bare metal on the rim is now painted to prevent further corrosion.

I didn't pay for mine, but rate seems to be between £50-100 a wheel depending on where you go and how good you want it.

The first time BMW did it for free (previous owner), I paid about £360 for all 4 to be done. They have done a great job and should last as long as I stay clear of the curbs!
