Prices seem to be quite appealing from what I have seen today.

So many miles means that the Z4 isn't all that practical so I may consider a 330Cd M Sport Convertible. Should be a bit more comfortable, definitely see better MPG, bigger boot etc. Maybe a bit easier to live with.

Would be wanting something facelift and M Sport. Would be wanting heated leather, xenons, sat nav and harmon kardon stereo.

If anyone comes across such a car... would be keen to hear!

Such spec/model seems to be about £15/16k?

Would expect to get £11k for mine.

That spec is very difficult to find! I would have an Auto in the 3.0l diesel, even more scarce.

Wanting either black on red or blue on cream/beige.

Why get hung up on the sat-nav? You do know its utter st?

That said if it has the other bits then it may well have the nav anyway, or vice-versa.

Keen on the TV, and I think it really smartens up the interior to boot, also love how it integrates with the phone/bluetooth - I know the nav is st wink

Any reason for the diesel option?

I have a face lift 55 plate E46 330ci M Sport, bought from main dealer, November last year for £16K, got £12K for my 2.2 Z4 on a 54 plate, kind of seemed a fair trade.

My 330ci has most options with two exceptions - it doesn't have the sat nav and only has the business cd.

I assumed we were talking new shape here?

You want to plow 15k into an e46? I think you're bonkers!

For less than £20k ?
I agree though, £15k on a non-M E46 is bonkers.

I don't really like the new shape if I'm honest!

Doesn't have sat nav but has the heated seats and xenons, and I still have a load of E46 stereo stuff from my old car.

£12k...

Nearer 10 and you could have a decent car there.

Seeing as you can get a car that looks near as dammit the same for 5k, I woudl be wary of putting much over 10 into one..

I'd put £25k into one variant of the E46...

Yes, so would I, but I don't this is the time or place to start going on about the merits of the 318.
