Is anyone else having issues with cracking 19in wheels? I had a crack on both my front wheels only to hear that a good mate of mine had a similar experience but on both of his 335i coupe rear wheels. He has done only a fraction of the miles that I have done and mentioned that Watchdog are looking into this matter has many other are reporting the issue, in particular with five spoke wheels.

BMW told me (and him) that this is not covered by warranty.

Does anyone else have a similar experience, and if so a more supportive response from BMW?

Change to non run flats and this would stop..the sidewalls of the run flats are so hard that the rims seem unable to cope.

It does appear to be down to the blasted run flats. After 6 years with this aborition BMW should go back to normal tires and stop damaging both our spine and our rims. This costing me a bomb in chiropractice care and wheel parts. I have now just order my 3 rd new rim. Of course no mention of warranty cover!
