According to my diagnostics all 6 of my glow plugs are not working...Is this possible?

It's either that or my relay.

ATM in the cold the car revs judder a bit and then settle down after 10 - 15 seconds.

Is it actually possible for all 6 to be faulty? And the car to run perfectly normally after those 10 odd seconds?

all 6 faulty would seem a bit weird, that's like loosing 4 indicator bulbs all at the same time.

I reckon an electrical fault up the line from the plugs, leading to all 6 not working. A relay perhaps...

The Glow plugs on common rail systems are used more for emissions as opposed to starting.

up behind the glovebox there is 4 relays, the third one in from left is for the system, that can throw up low fuel pressure glow plugs etc, its ab0out 8 quid from bmw, if you look on real oem you will find.
wont hurt to try it at no mega cost, git to get out though, take glove box out, then you will see them tucked up in a white plastic frame, held on with 10mm plastic nuts

Am I right in thinking the glow relay is in under the bonnet at the top right in that black box ?
