Swapping 335i for 650i - good thing or bad?

Hi guys,

Looking for some advice, I'm thinking if trading in my 335i convertible for a 650i convertible, what do you think?

I've only been able to drive a 630i so far, but I guess the 650 is close to the same speed / power as my 3 series?

Has anyone some experience of this sort of swap?

All comments, good and bad appreciated!

Ever driven one? - no, I thought not. The facts are;

650 sounds fantastic
650 is APPRECIATING in value at the moment
650 is far more practical
650 is designed as a GT not an out an out sports car

Well, cheers for the comments. Good and bad.

Made my choice and confirmed order today. Black with cream interior, HUD, tv, heated seats, sat nav prof, 19" rims, cd changer, and a few other goodies.

Will post some pics when I get it!

Congrats - I have done 15,000 miles now during the last 9 months in my 650i cab and it still puts a smile on my face when I press the starter button

Great car!!

BMW lent me one last month for a few days while I was in the USA. It was a similar spec to your order. Best things were the HUD and the poshest cup holder - only in the USA!

The car was great - even in the heavy rain I had to contend with. Did around 500 miles in 48 hours.
