Speaker Upgrade for Z3MCoupe

I am looking at buying a Z3MCoupe and I enjoy my music.

I am aware of the HK upgrade option but I don't want this to be a constraint on getting 'the one' so can anyone recommend a decent speaker system that will be easy to fit after market if I end up with the business sound pack?

There is obviously a specific space for a base speaker in the boot - does anyone know if a non HK car will still have the wires to plug a Sub in to the system? What size is this sub?

Standard sound and HK upgrade both sound crap....if you want decent sound you'll need a pro install of some type.

If you get some decent components fitted in the front with an amp then you might not feel the need to put a sub in a car as small as the Z3 coupe.
Have a chat with a decent installer.

As has been said, there is no point wasting time and money fitting the HK stuff.

Alpine do a bespoke speaker package for the 1 series which you can order from BMW dealers. May be worth asking if there is something similar for your car.
