Question about corrosion warranties

I have a 55-plate 320 that has developed very small (6mm) spidering under the paint of the off-side A-pillar. There appears to be no stone chip or break in the paint. My questions are

i) Is it covered by the corrosion warranty?
ii) If yes, is it worth taking it in? My concern is that it will get worse over time.

I think the only way you will really find out is by taking it in and asking, it wont cost you anything.

Does it look like a spiders web?

I had this on a car and the general consensus was that it is caused by kids throwing eggs at it.
