Anyone used one of these to 'chip' a 330d?

Hello all,

My everyday car is a BMW E46 330D Sport, and just wondering if these things are any good, and do they improve the BHP etc as claimed?

If not, what do people recommend.

Also, my car has over 150K miles on it, should I even consider this at that milage?

Don't bother - do it properly, go to e-maps.com, spend £300, much better, job done.
Mileage should not be an issue, I had mine done at 70k and it now has 140K - no issues.

Bought one of these for my A4 1.9 TDi. Made the chuck out an alarming amount of smoke (filled the whole road when you booted it ) and eventually set the Engine Managment light on.
