E36 Abs intermittent fault

Hi guys,
I have an intermittent abs/traction control light problem. When I drive it, it's fine, but when I take it for the mot it comes on (sods law, I know). The car has a warped front disc, (which is getting replaced before the next mot) do you think the disc could be throwing up the abs fault on it's own or is there likely to be a problem with the wheel speed sensors too? Will the car go through the mot without the abs with the view to fixing it later?
