Seen a 330D Touring, 59 plate (September 2009) with following options:

Visibiity Package
Seat heating front
USB interface
Panoramic Sunroof
Park distance control front & rear
Media Package professional
Sun protection glass
Automatic (with steering wheel gear change)
Leather interior
Sliding fron armrest

5.5k miles

£32,500 (BMW AUC)

Looks very nice and comes out at more than £43.5k on the configurator. Don't know a great deal about the market for these, any opinions?

Is the Media Package the full sat nav or just better stereo?

In base form the car lists for about 33k, but those options never cost 10K, during 09 on certain 3 series BMWs you got free upgrades like leather, better stereo, met paint etc.

The sunroof is a lot of money and not really worth anything come resale, so I would say this is a badly specced car, apart from the auto and leather, and if you bought it new with discount from a dealer I expect to pay £37 to 38k so its lost anothe £1k per month or £1 per mile. So thinking about it, it seems a good deal unless it's really bad colour!

forgot to mention it's an M sport, so base price is £36k (in this case £37.5 with Auto). Media Package is a £1900 option and includes Professional Sat Nav, includes the following:

- Bluetooth phone prep + telematics
- BMW ConnectedDrive-Assist
- BMW ConnectedDrive-Online
- Navigation-system Professional
- Voice Contro

With the options input to the BMW configurator the total price comes to £43.5k. Metallic paint, stereo etc were all no cost options. If you enter the options I listed into the configurator you will come to that price. Lots of standard no cost options but these ones were additional.

I specifically looked for a car with the Professional Media package and Pan sunroof. The sunroof gives fantastic light in the car and at the touch of a button closes the anthracite headliner, so dark when required. Therefore there is a market for the sunroof, I can't be the only one who sees it as a benefit ;-)

Anyway, I searched for quite a while and couldn't see anything for sale with this spec, so now I've bought the car. I pick it up tomorrow. :-)

This is the facelifted version with the new engine, I assume? Not a late-registered pre-facelift?

I thought I'd read the latest one was 260 something. I may be wrong.

The old 330D was 231bhp, the new one 245bhp. Or PS or whatever, but those are the official numbers.

the 335D is 286hp in the latest version but rumours of 300hp in whatever comes in the next model. Maybe 260hp is the 330D next model but the latest model now is 245hp, more importantly it has 520nm torque. I cose the 330D because it has a more simple configuration - 1 turbo not 2, also the one I found had most of what I wanted apart from electric seats.
