X5 4x4 Actuator part + Glow Pugs + nr Harrow service

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good (i.e. cheap!) parts supplier for a 4x4 Actuator and diesel Glow Plugs for a 2006 X5 3.0D Sport? I think BMW quoted £469 for 4x4 Actuator and £200 per glow plug... plus their ridiculous hourly rate for fitting - sounded quite expensive all in all!

Also, can anyone recommend a good independant place near Harrow for servicing and other work for an X5?

I've been using Harrow Service Centre for all work I can't do myself, behind the Total petrol station on Pinner Road.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The glow plugs have gone on a 2006 car!!!!!

Have you been to the moon and back!

If not, I think I would be writing to BMW looking for a goodwill contribution towards the cost
