E46 330 wipers stopped working?

Hi I've got a 330 touring with rain sensor wipers and on the way home from work they just stopped.
So pulled over and had a look for a fuse which i cant seem to find??

Got back in and started the car up again and they worked for about 10 miles then stopped again and now dont work. Any idea where the relay is for them as i am thinking it is getting hot then cutting out.Or any other ideas.

Wiper relays are a very common failure on the E46, If my memory is correct you should find it in the E-box in the engine compartment (opposite side to your brakefluid reservoir. You'll need to take the black plastic lid off (5mm hex screws). The relay you're looking for is a tall brown one. You'll need to replace it I expect. I used to keep a spare one in my old E46 just in case!
