At the thin end you'll probably need two alloy repairs and a track rod - £200 approx.
At the other end it'll be 2 new wheels, a wheel bearing, track rod, new suspension on the front, etc. - £1500?
It'll also depend where you take it and where you source the parts - i.e. can you get / will you be happy with 2nd hand wheels or will you require new ones?
I did something similar, but only hit the front, and at 5mph, so it looks like I've gotten away with just a wheel repair as the car drives & brakes straight and there are no vibrations.

track rod and/or front wishbone/"tension arm"

6 and 10 (10 is the complete bit, not just the ball joint) are the tension arms and wishbones.
There are designed as a little bit of a mechanical fuse, and impact on the wheel will bend the arms rather than twist anything bigger.
Your best bet will be going for 4 wheel alignment, as they will be able to tell you if the front wheel has any "set back"
Most of the bends and knocks are often pretty hard to see, and i'd bet they could adjust the tracking to remove the effects of whatever is bent, but if there is still a set-back after that, than an arm is bent also.

ahhhh a quote from a dealer not shifting too many x1s etc.... and some numpty in service who did pricing.... I'd say 2500-3000 nearer 3 tho' on basis that early in 2009 dealer reckoned i'd stump up 2000 for service related suspension work on a 124k mile 528i worth say 1700.....
I have had most of the major suspension components replaced in my E39 528 for less than £500.Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
