So swmbo and I went car shopping today and found a 59,000ml 2006 56 plate 120d Sport in a dealership at £10995.They have offered us £1900 for the wifes Polo which we are happy with bearing in mind its 110,000mls and needs a bit of tlc.

The beemer is in lovely condition and having never driven one before I loved it.The dealer seems like a good guy but is not budging on the price. What do you people think ?

Im guessing he may be able to sell it all day long so should we just pay the man.

Thanks just joined up looks a good forum.I think we have decided to go for it especially as we can fund 50% of the price ourselves.

What about stumping up the extra for a 2007 facelift model with the full efficient dynamics kit? Could be worth it in the long run. By the way, I have a 120d and its just clocked over 146,000 miles. Averages 45 mpg, and i drive enthusiastically. No real problems so far, but the clutch is starting to judder - common problem it appears. The forum babybmw, as someone else recommends is well worth a look. I'm really happy with mine, sure you will be too.

The deed is done mate maybe in a few years time hopefully I will fancy another one then. The mileage on yours is bloody impressive and says a lot about the build quality.Ive been on the babybmw forum and yeah your right loads of info there.
