Advice needed

Hi All, I have 330d which leaves a trail of exhaust fumes under acceleration is there anything on the market that may cure this problem (not for me but for those behind) or is this more specialised.

Mine did that - especially the first time you floored it after pottering around town for a while

Buying supermarket fuel made it worse

Ive seen plenty of diesels with the smokescreen option and cant help wonder if theyve been chipped (335ds move too fast to tell LOL)


EDIT: A diesel particulate filter is fitted to more modern cars to help this

Likewise. Had a 2003 330d sport that smoked heavily on first major acceleration.
tried all sorts - including changing the fuel filter regularly, buying different fuel, have timing adjusted - and sorry to report that nothing made a significant difference.
