I'd guess at the scaffolding initially blocking the signal, maybe: & that's put the alarm out of sync with the car. If you have the other key, give that a try, if not, I'd try a reset, ie disconnect the battery for 20 mins, then try again. That should put everything back to factory settings.

Sorry, so...it's locking & alarming everywhere but in the drive? That's weird; do you live near any MOD establishments...seen any strange flashing lights...?
