I'm not familiar with the 6 series but can you look in the glove box and centre console for either a USB port or a 3.5mm jack connection?

There is a retro fit that you can get done. It varies greatly in price amongst dealers, so check with several dealers first. Works through the i-drive then.

Not sure re the ipod connection but the car sounds exactly like mine, similar mileage, same colours and similar spec. Its a fantastic car and for the money you cant beat it!

Only real problem i've had is i had to have the aircon pump rebuilt, £500. A new one fitted was £1300. the aircon worked fine but the bearings in the pump became noisy and you could hear a rattle under exceleration, around 500-700rpm, so look out for that.

Apart from that, usual checks to the bushes and make sure the brakes and tyres have some life in them as they're not cheap! Enjoy
