Hi there, I've got a 54' 330D msport, and i need a couple of FRONT tyres... I have the 18" upgrade and was wondering if anyone knew of any decent tyres, i do a hell of a lot of motorway miles, and as much as this is fact, i still like to throw it about a bit when i get on the lanes, so i am looking for a comprimise between wear and traction, probably leaning more toward wear if im honest. I think i have michelin pilot 2's on at the moment and they have been OK, but they cost a bit for what they are, im suree theres a better tyre available. So any suggestions welcomed!!

Secondly, my new phone doesnt seem to work with the bluetooth phone kit. (The factory fitted one with the GPS/TV) It just seems to connect, then disconnect, then connect, then disconnect etc etc

Any ideas again?

OH AND AS WELL, Have you ever had to replace a headlight washer cover? Literally the small shaped piece of plastic, which covers the jet that pokes out and does the business?

Cheers chaps!

Can only ad my two pence-worth about the tyres - I've just fitted Falkens all round to my 330i on 18" MV's. So far I'm pretty impressed with them, good balance of grip and ride quality. Can't yet tell you how they wear, but as they're less than half the price of the Michelin Pilot Sports you can afford to replace them twice and still be a few quid up - I doubt whether the Michelins will last twice as many miles...

I previously did a lot of motorway miles in an 02 330ci sport (same 18" wheels as yours).
Ideally I've had stuck to the Michelin PS but they're £££.
I used Continental SportContact2 and then 3s for a lots of miles and found them to be very good for less money than the Michelins.
I've Falken 452s on the current 335 and don;t like them.

Ref your phone, do you have lots of messages stored ?
Empty them, delete the pairing and repair it. My old car had similar issues with my wife's phone.

Also delete any other devices its trying to look for too, infact delete all devices and start fresh, happened to me last week, i think it will only hld a max of 4 devices, but it will confuse its self at times, so delete all and start again. It worked first time after i had done that.

Can't remember what tyres I ran on my E46 but my current E90 has had 2 sets of Continental Sport Contact 2s (19 inch wheels) and I've found them to be very good.

I had a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas and hated them - had no confidence in them when it was wet and they wore quickly.

VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN ! VREDESTEIN !

I got 14k from the rears alone and I have a very heavy foot. Excellent tyres, really grippy aswell. Got the rears done yesterday and cost me 240 all in.

So I think the front may be something like 200 all in ?

Go on camskill find out how much they want for the Vred front, then go on the Vred website and look for your local supplier. use the Camskill price + 10-50 quid for the balancing, fitting etc. No tyre comes close to wear/price/grip. Trust me on that. I've had SC3, PS2, Falkens and the vreds have preformed just as good or better than all of them. Ps falkens lose their grip after halfway.

Regarding bluetooth, there is a way of completey disconnecting it and clearing its history. Then starting fresh, worked for the iPhone.
