Wonder if anyone here knows about this...

I recently bought an Alpina B10 - a 1999 3.2 manual. It was serviced just before I got it and came with all 5 green lights showing. Then last night I realised that when I started the car, only 1 green light was showing! There was certainly no interim period of going from 5 to 4, 4 to 3 etc. Just 4 lights suddenly going out and I'm left with one green light showing.

For info, the service and resetting of the lights was done by an independent BMW specialist. The car has been driven very sensibly by me since I bought it, not thrashed at all.

Can anyone suggest the reason this has happened and what I can do about it?

How many miles have you done since the last service?

I've done less than a thousand miles since the last service.

...and when was that.

If Alpina are like BMW the 5 bars work on 2 years or 3000 litres of fuel - well the M5 does, im sure others run on a similar principle.
