E39 - K&N Induction Kit

Has anyone fitted one of these to their E39.

boy racer rubbish. sucks in all the heat from the engine. unless your running huge modifications dont bother..

upside - it may sound better but that will be the only benefit

If you really want one, get a cold air intake type kit.

I wonder if a Dave F induction kit would fit an e39?

But yeh, you need to be carefull, i bought a cheap kit and had it put on a 325ci, i removed it after 2 days, it ruined the straight 6 sound, and no noticable performance difference.
