I'm surprised it's not yet appeared on PH! I found it on BabyBMW and i'm not sure what to make of it!

For starters, it's the first FWD BMW which is a massive break from the norm......BMW are trying to target the "Fiesta" market.

However on the plus side, it does look rather smart! Especially from the front! Very nice! smile Just a shame the 1 series couldn't have these looks.....

Either way it's going to sell like hot-cakes!

I actually really like the look of that, however, I prefer a BMW to have an I6 (minimum) and RWD.

Looks good but I think they've diluted the brand enough as it is.

Looks better than the 1-series hatch.

But definitely not something for me.

Looks very nice - far better than Audi's A1.

Whether the actual production model is as nice though, and what about stealing sales from the MINI and 1-series?

Thats nicely proportioned and good looking car... from the front, but change the boot/hatch door, the built in spoiler looks bad.

Yup, I had the same thought. Someone's photoshop guess of what a BMW Fiesta would look like.

It looks all wrong. Interior looks small, which makes this car look huge.

Clearly just the usual Auto Express crappy but good PS job smile

BMW's effort will no doubt look much worse, especially when you see them out on the road with 16" steelies and hub-caps and tape players hehe

Difficult to believe that short of a front overhang on a FWD car...
