My insurance is up in a week and my existing company (Privilege) seem a tad high this year. Which companies are coming up with good prices at the moment?

Admiral seemed cheapest for me out of the usual suspects, but Flux matched them and had more favourable terms.

I agree about flux. Being of the older type of person I had been with saga for a few years but this year they wanted silly money for my 540 and Flux came in at half the price for the same cover

Tesco, they gave me a large discount just because I had a club card too.

A Plan for me again for the fourth year running I think. Only £20 up on last year and still quite a bit below anyone else.

Swiftcover ( part of AXA) were the best for my 53 Reg Z4 3.0 SE, £241 Comp with protected NCB.

Another vote for Flux. Their service is top notch, friendly, knowledgeable. I have enough confidence in them that I did not shop around at renewal time for either of my cars. Perhaps I could save a few pounds elsewhere, but I am sure that if I had to claim that I could pass everything to them to sort out and it would be done promptly and they would represent my best interest. Real people not internet-only service.

UK/Euro breakdown assistance is a bit of a bargain too at £52 per car - I've yet to use it but given Flux's attention to detail and service, I have confidence that it is a decent product.

In the end I went with Priviledge again. No one else could match their price. Thanks for the suggestions. smile
